GTSI Overview

Through the U.S. Communities contract, GTSI is responding to the business challenges of state and local government agencies with solutions that provide a wide breadth of technology products and professional services. Utilizing an extensive staff of certified engineers and project managers, GTSI has designed and delivered a full range of IT infrastructure solutions including server virtualization, unified communications, document management, physical security, and asset management. With a wealth of past performance, GTSI will continue to meet public agency needs—whether that consists of simple product configuration or consultation and assessment for more complex IT projects. GTSI has enhanced its offering to public agencies via this contract with support services for products, Green product and solutions reporting, and financial services that help state and local governments procure the technology they need despite budgetary constraints.

Professional Services Pricing:

The professional services available through GTSI’s contract are listed below. Please note that the hourly rate for each service is a ceiling rate, which is the highest possible rate GTSI may charge for each service. Please contact your GTSI representative for a competitive hourly rate quote based on your task order level project.

GTSI measures the following factors to ensure competitive professional services pricing for PPAs:

Competitive labor rates from established state or local professional services contracts that are in the public agency customer’s same geographic or economic region
Identification of where GTSI is proposing local labor resources and where proposed pricing is governed by local market influences
Similar services/solutions reference which show the number of hours proposed are accurate based on past successfully completed projects, when available
Index pricing (MSRP, List Price, GSA Price, etc.) for the proposed hardware/software components and the proposed discount off these indexes
Hardware/software quotes for alternate solutions configured with competing products

Product Category Pricing:

This contract allows public agencies to purchase all IT related products if the product is associated with a service or solution including:

Networking equipment
Laptops
Workstations/desktops
Unix Systems
Storage
Monitors
Printers
Supplies and Accessories
Other Hardware and Software

The product categories are priced at a minimum percentage off of manufacturers’ suggested retail price. GTSI also offers volume discounts and special pricing discounts when applicable.
