"Webinar: Stop The Bleed"

A concert in Las Vegas, a nightclub in Orlando, an elementary school in Connecticut, a church in Texas, and a McDonalds in California. What do all these have in common? They are some of the locations of the deadliest mass shootings in modern US History. Unfortunately, they will most likely not be the last. With no sure way of telling when the next active aggressor will strike, we have to look at what we can do to assess and address a scenario of that nature prior to it happening. In the first few moments of an active aggressor scenario, police and EMS may not be present or able to get in, however civilians can help each other in the meantime. A few simple steps with a few easy to use products can help save a life, whether the accident is a result of a shooting, or even a simple accident at home. Please join Safeware as we discuss the hazards, the solutions and the products used to “stop the bleed”, as we sit down with Mike Buffum, EMS professional and public safety trainer to discuss trauma care in public locations.
