While U.S. Communities is eligible across the country, our local focus on supporting the state of Texas enables us to deliver the cost benefits of a nationwide cooperative while ensuring that public agency goals to support small, local and minority businesses within the state of Texas are being met.
In a Texas Impact Study, pricing of U.S. Communities suppliers was benchmarked against local Texas contracts with the same suppliers — the results found that, on average, agencies could have saved 5-10 percent more through U.S. Communities. Ensure you asking your supplier for their U.S. Communities pricing or you will likely be paying too much.
Many agencies throughout the state turn to us to meet their purchasing needs.
2,602 Texas agencies made purchases through our contracts, making Texas the third largest state under the program.
